Introduction to Art of Brittany
After spending over a decade of scrapbooking, I have accumulated lots of extra paper, stamps, ribbons, and ephemera plus all matter of paints, inks, pens, and assorted tools. It seems natural that my creativity would expand to making greeting cards and journals. With each project, I’m becoming familiar with the plethora of paper/ephemera companies as well as learning new techniques. It is an ongoing journey that is exciting and satisfying. I hope you’ll come along and see how my projects evolve, and I am looking to set up a store in the near future.
Below are a few journals I have made so far.
Celebrate the Moments
I used a paper bag journal and paper/ephemera from the Polish company, P13. I used sheer purple ribbon for the tie closure.
Hocus Pocus Halloween
Fa La La
I made the same 6” x 6” base design as the above Hocus Pocus journal using Prima’s holiday paper from late last year. The journal is bursting from all the ephemera packed into the pages.
Home Sweet Home
Same base structure as the above journals, this time using paper and ephemera from Simple Stories’ Hearth and Home collection.
With subsequent journals, I will provide more detailed descriptions of the product used and techniques used.
Enjoy!
